Our Programs

Learning Environments

For our first year at Sea Island Sprouts, our classrooms are thoughtfully arranged to welcome all age groups while we build toward our permanent program structure.

  • In 2025, Navigators serves children born between September 2, 2022 and February 28, 2024 in a part-time, full-day format. This group will transition together into Voyagers in Summer 2026.

  • Our Pathfinders class currently brings together both 3s and 4s, fostering leadership, collaboration, and community.

Beginning in Summer 2026, the children in the part-time program will move into Voyagers, our dedicated part-time, full-day program for children ages 3 and older. Until that time, the part-time class will continue to serve children within the original September 2, 2022 – February 28, 2024 birthday range, even as they age up. Once all of those children have reached 36+ months, the permanent enrollment requirement for Voyagers will be that children are at least 36 months old. At the same time, Navigators will become our full-time 3-year-old program, and Pathfinders will return to serving 4s only. This will complete the pathway with all five classrooms — Adventurers, Explorers, Navigators, Pathfinders, and Voyagers — open and running in their long-term structure.

This phased-in approach ensures every child has a place to learn, grow, and belong while we thoughtfully establish a stable, lasting program for years to come.

Adventurers
(Ones)

In the Adventurers Room, our little toddlers embark on a journey of discovery, taking their first steps toward independence and connection. This space is designed to nurture their budding curiosity through hands-on exploration, interactive play, and early social experiences. Our caring educators create a safe and supportive environment where every child can confidently develop motor skills, communication, and a sense of belonging, setting the stage for a lifelong love of learning.

Explorers
(Twos)

In the Explorers Room, our toddlers take their next big steps in growth and discovery. Through play-based activities and guided exploration, children build confidence, develop essential skills, and form early friendships. We encourage their natural love for learning by creating opportunities for curiosity to flourish, from sensory experiences to imaginative play. Our supportive educators focus on nurturing independence while ensuring each child feels safe, valued, and excited to explore the world around them.

Navigators
(Threes)

In the Navigators Room, children dive into a world of discovery and creativity, building skills that will support their continued growth. Through play-based activities, hands-on exploration, and meaningful social interactions, children develop problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and a sense of confidence. Our approach fosters a natural love for learning while providing a strong foundation for the exciting journey ahead.

Pathfinders
(Fours)

In the Pathfinders Room, children embrace their role as leaders and problem-solvers, preparing for the exciting transition to kindergarten and beyond. Through hands-on projects, collaborative play, and creative exploration, they develop critical thinking, teamwork, and resilience. Our nurturing educators guide children as they refine their skills, deepen their curiosity, and build the confidence to navigate the next stages of their educational journey with enthusiasm and purpose.

Voyagers
(Part Time)

In the Voyagers Room, children enjoy the flexibility of a part-time, full-day program while engaging in the same rich, play-based experiences that define our school. Through hands-on projects, creative exploration, and meaningful social interactions, they develop problem-solving skills, communication, and resilience. As they collaborate with peers and take on new challenges, Voyagers begin to step into leadership roles, building teamwork and critical thinking along the way. Our nurturing educators guide each child as they deepen their curiosity, strengthen their confidence, and embrace the joy of learning, providing a strong foundation for the next stages of their educational journey.

The Voyagers program will launch in the summer of 2026.
