Quite Possibly the World’s Shortest Supply List
Things you need to buy for the center to use: Nothing.
We charge a small supply fee that covers all shared classroom materials. No bulk crayons, tissue boxes, or glue sticks required.
The only things you’ll need to send are personal items for your child:
-
Diapers or pull-ups (if needed) – please send one labeled pack at a time. Our staff will label individual diapers. Please don’t send full cases—we have limited storage space.
-
Diaper rash cream
-
Wipes (only if your child is sensitive to a particular brand—we provide standard wipes)
-
Two complete change of clothes (including socks) – due to limited cubby space.
Don’t worry—your child will get messy, and we’ll help with outfit changes as needed. We’ll remind you to refresh clothing for growth and seasonal weather. All soiled clothes are laundered on site using a dye- and fragrance-free sensitive detergent. -
A bucket hat for outdoor play
-
One crib-sized sheet, one blanket, and one lovey – bedding is washed in-house at least once a week; loveys may be sent home, washed in our machine, or sanitized in the ZONO depending on material and family preference
-
Optional: a pacifier, if needed
If your child is potty training and prone to accidents, we’ll work with you directly to keep a few additional clothing items on hand. We also keep a small collection of backup clothes, including socks and seasonal wear in various sizes for both boys and girls.
Why We Charge a Supply Fee (and What It Covers)
Our supply fee helps cover the everyday consumables used in learning and play: art supplies, classroom materials, tissues, cleaning items, and more. It allows us to manage inventory more efficiently, ensure consistent quality, and honestly... be a little picky.
We’re a Ticonderoga and Crayola kind of crew—sorry, Crazy Art.
Your fee means we can keep classrooms stocked, kids engaged, and teachers supported—without asking you to shop for a single glue stick.
Nap Mat Fee
We provide all nap mats, and they’re built to last. Many children use the same mat for years and will take it home when they graduate.
A nap mat fee is charged at enrollment, and in most cases, that’s the only one you’ll ever pay. If your child ever needs a replacement—usually due to wear from particularly wiggly sleepers—we’ll reach out and charge the fee again only as needed.
All nap mats are cleaned at least weekly in our state-of-the-art ZONO sanitizing cabinet.
Labeling Required
All personal items must be labeled with your child’s name.
A good old-fashioned Sharpie works just fine, but if you’d prefer a longer-lasting solution, we recommend Oliver’s Labels:
-
Stick-on labels for bottles and gear
-
Iron-on labels for clothes, blankets, and hats
If you order labels, please send in a sheet with your child—we’re happy to help apply them to any items that need tagging.

Occasionally…
We may ask families to send in clean household items that would otherwise be recycled or sent to the landfill—like paper towel rolls, cardboard tubes, or fabric scraps. These materials spark creativity and support our commitment to reuse and reduce waste in the classroom.
Please don’t send items unless we’ve specifically requested them or talked with you first—we have limited space and want to ensure we can make the most of every contribution.
Have something unique you think we might love or need? Just check with your child’s teacher first!
